filling in the food diary?

Im after a bit of an insight really.. When you fill in your food diary for home cooked meals, am i doing it right by weighing everything individually ie mince or chicken, then filling in each item seperatly on the food diary.? thats how ive been doing it ..

Sure. You can then save it as a meal for future use.
Or you can add the individual ingredients under Recipes for future use as well.
Both are handy time-saving uses but the end results will be the same.0 -

Remember you can create your own recipes and meals! It's a very useful option if you have a fixed meal plan remember that some foods lose water and weight when cooked, so you might want to think if you want to weigh them raw or cooked beforehand.

thanks divacat.. never thought of raw and cooked losing the water etc... the recipe idea is good, just starting to get my head round things!0
