Losing Weight in College

Well, "Freshman 15" was more like "freshman 40" for me, and I was already overweight to begin with. I started dieting and doing what exercise I can (messed up one of my knees, still don't know how) and I'm down 30 pounds, but I have 90 to go. Gosh, that seems like such a big number. Anyways, I'm 19, and I'd really like to make some friends here who are close to my age, or not. I just need some more motivation cause my roommates worked out with me for 2 weeks and quit. haha.

Hey! I'm 23 and a grad student. I know how hard it can be to lose weight in college, due to crazy schedules and not having access to the healthiest food. I just started my weight loss journey not too long ago, and finding MFP a few weeks ago has really helped me to step up my game and really go for my goals! I too have about 90 lbs to lose. I know it sounds like a lot, but if you look at it in little steps it's not so overwhelming, I promise. Set small goals for yourself so you don't feel overwhelmed. I'm new to the whole adding friends on here thing, because at first I was just using the app and didn't even really know that was something you could do. Feel free to add me though! Support and motivation is way better with numbers.0

I color one square for each pound that I've lost. It's a constant reminder, as i have it hanging right above my desk in my room.0 -
