Goal Achieved! 100kg Squats.

When I started lifting heavy (in April) I wrote down some goals. One of them was to squat 100kg.
I picked 100kg because it didn't seem attainable at the time, after all I was 6wks out of knee surgery.
Tonight my trainer loaded the bar to 97.5kg which would have been a new PB. He said 4, which I did.
He said "Well that didn't even seem hard, I'm almost disappointed."
I looked at him and said "100?"
And he grinned and said "Why not?"
So my squat goal has been attained 100kg (220lbs) x 3.
My trainer took a photo afterwards.

Next goal is Deadlifts x 100kg.

Wow, that's outstanding, well done! I did 60kg on one of the machines in the gym last week and by the second set my legs were shaking ridiculously. So I have a lot of respect for you! Good luck with the deadlifts! x0

I highly recommend ditching the machine and working in a squat rack, you'll work your core/stabilizing muscles more and the machine doesn't allow for a natural range of motion.0 -
well done! That makes my 40kg efforts look measly.0

Excellent!!!
Just love it when you hit a goal or PB so much good feeling.

That's awesome!
For grip stuff I like, high rep bb calf raises or shruts, hanging from a pullup bar for as long as possible, farmers walks and I've recently been doing a few one arm deadlifts. (great for the core too)
And are you using over/under grip on the hard ones?0 -
Okay, seriously impressed.
You have officially earned the title0 -
I creeped around in your pictures (ewww i know right lol) because I was curious if you had progress pictures. You have done amazing!! And I just love your kitty pictures. "I had fun once...and it was horrible" LOLOL :laugh:0

That is fantastic, really impressive! I did my own personal best today too, squatted just above my body weight in kilos (5 reps @ 72k I felt like she-ra princess of power and strutted out of the rack, admittedly I walked funny and had to have a nice sit down afterwards but I did it! Well done on 100k. Truly awesome!0
