30 lbs by Christmas!!!

Starting today that gives me 60 days to lose the 30lbs. Who's with me?
Stats:
Height: 5'11''
HW: 234
CW: 213 BMI: 29.7
Goal by Christmas: 183 BMI: 25.5
GW: 160 BMI: 22.3
It may or may not be doable for me, because I am a serious Holiday eater. Actually, a great reason to do this is to reign yourself in over the holidays! So lets do it!

one pound every two days is a 1750 daily caloric deficit. For me to be able to do that, I'd have to eat 0 calories a day.
I think the goal is a little bit too much. Most people can only safely lose 2 pounds a week, or about 15 pounds till Christmas. Good luck with your endeavor.0 -
I would love to try to lose 15 p before Christmas but 30 p dose not sound healthy, so I'm going to pass but good luck! I'm sure you can do what you put your mined to.0

I am probably going to weigh in at about 215 tomorrow morning. By the time I leave the state (Jan 4), I want to be under 199. That will rid me of my stomach. I agree with the other post. 30 lbs by xmas is almost naturally impossible, unless you were heavily obese.
We are pretty similar, in weight and our goal date. I don't normally do this, but want to buddy up? I think we could encourage each other.0 -
Sure, I'd love a weightloss buddy. I know 30 lbs in 60 days seems alot. I'm basing it on my current rate of loss which is about .5 a pound a day. I'm sure that that will slow down at some point, and if I don't lose 30 lbs by Christmas, I won't be punishing myself or anything, but, aim high in case you fall short and all that.0

I should also mention that the less you weigh, the more you have to do to lose the weight. However, at some point, the line on the graph will swing the other way if you press too hard, as your body will resist the pressure that is being put on it.
Scientific reasoning:
The longer your workout is, the more exhaustion you have. You can burn 1000 calories very easily, but that 2nd 1000 calories will be much more difficult (these ranges are, of course, negotiable. Use logical reasoning). If you were to go for another 1000 calories, no matter how much nutrients you have had in between, it will be exremely difficult if not impossible. It will not assist with weight loss, and will cause your body to go into conservation mode, as the muscles and organs have not had time to soak in the nutrients that help them recover.
This example is the same short term as it is long term. I know when I need to eat, as well as when I need to stop working out. I pay attention to that.
Another example would be pro cyclist. They had to use drugs/blood transfusions. Do you know why? The blood cells they normally have could not process the nutrients they supplied their bodies with so they could go strong for that last 25km. The blood cells act as messengers between the stomach and the muscles.
