Please let me know of any simple vegetarian recipes you have; I'm a student so looking for simple ingredients. I am a good cook but however being a student cannot afford all the spices etc!

I have found that spices are pretty cheap! If you are able to come up with about $10, you can get an actual spice rack! If you don't want to do that, I'd recommend getting the basics first (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder) and then gradually adding in others (lemon pepper, cayenne, etc.) moving on to more.
My suggestions
- tofu (soak it in soy sauce and some spices and then fry it ... without the oil)
- rice
- beans (I prefer chickpeas, baked with spices)
- steamed veggies
- raw fruits and veggies (of course)0 -
