  • what is ttc?

your plan is good. and it works! if your obgym is in on this then he/she can monitor your diet and help you lose it while pregnant.. losing the fat is good and since you'll be eating healthfully, it sounds safe. check with your obgyn!

    I'm 47, have 2 teens and, yes, I still want 2 more. a boy and a girl! :)

    You can do this!

Eating clean is an awesome idea...so is exercising, just don't go insane with it. That means, don't spend several hours at the gym trying to get insane burns!

I have heard stories of women who ate mostly lean meats and steamed veggies and only gained like 12lbs and delivered 8lb babies.

I have also heard of overweight women, I went to school with one, who only gained 10-12 pounds under doctor supervision. They then had average sized babies and left the hospital weighing less than their pre-pregnancy weight.

Clean eating is definitely a good idea ... (I'm 13 weeks preggo and trying to stay healthier this time around) ... exercising is also a must. However, I would verify with your OB what exactly you should be doing. I'd also recommend asking him/her what a safe heart rate is for you while exercising while pregnant. I was told 140 is the basic heart rate for preggy mamas. If you were fit before, my understanding is you can go a little higher than 140. But the doc will know best :)
