Hey folks, I'm new..

Hey all,

New to this site. I am 96kg (211lbs/15st 1lb) and 179cm (5ft 10.5). Recent health assessment states what is probably obvious to most. I need to get fit, lose weight and improve my overall health. Have known this for a long while but the assessment gave me a kicking I needed.

Today 1st day counting calories and eating healthy. Also went for a brief run. I have made an appointment at a local gym for tomorrow. Not going to go crazy, but am motivated to get wheels in motion.

My plan is to start with small and achievable goals. I hope this it's achievable (especially with Christmas round the corner) and not too strong to start with - looking to lose 9kg by end of Dec.

Well that's my story. Any help/advice will be gratefully received!
