Lemon water detox?

Has anyone done it? Were you successful, or not? Did you lose weight and then gain it all back? If you haven't done it, would you?

While water and lemon are tasty together and hydrating, it will not help you lose weight alone. Making sure you're eating a calorie deficit will. Water could help that, though, by hydrating you and staving off hunger for a while, but in the end, just making this change won't do it.

Also, your body is a pretty efficient machine that can detoxify itself, assuming your kidneys are working well. You don't need to help it detox.

All in all, water does help your kidneys and other organs, so bottoms up!

A detox does nothing for you. Stop wasting your diet and eat food in reduced portion sizes to the TDEE you have rather than using fads, honestly, right now you'll just be spinning your wheels.

    Agreed on all counts!

There is zero scientific evidence that all of these ridiculous "detoxes" do anything, other than perhaps a placebo effect since you believe it is doing something.
