Are you prone to back problems? Looks like something you'd get if you have a herniated disc.
Or it could just a muscle spasm. Take a break for a few days and take ibuprofen. Resume your activity slowly with some gentle walks.
You will feel better soon0 -
DO NOT do ANY exercises while experiencing back pain.
Wait till the pain is completely gone and then resume your gym routine. If the pain persists more than several days, see a doctor. If the pain comes back after returning to the gym, then you'll need to re-assess your form when doing your exercises.
If you cannot manage a form to prevent such pain, then DO NOT do the exercise.
If you mess up your back, you're looking at decades of medical treatment and possibly lifelong problems. There simply is no reason what so ever to risk that for any particular exercise.0 -
Go see a doctor. This could be anything from DOMS to a disc. We'll never know on here.0

You need to stretch and avoid forward bends. Your pain may originate from the fact that your form is not perfect. The pain should go away in 5 days or so. In the mean time, apply hot and cold patches of water on the affected area. If pain is too much to bare. do get some pain medication and inflammatory medicine from your doctor. If the pain starts moving down to your butt and your legs, then it might have to do with your lover back nerves(discs). Do not waste your money and time in chiropractors or specialist for now. Wait at least 2 weeks to see how you feel. Lower back pain is a multi billion dollar industry and they will try to diagnose you and sell you all kinds of stuff. I've been there. My two cents...0
