Is this bad?

So for lunch today I'm planning on getting a Ham, Egg, and Cheese bagel sandwich from Dunkin Donuts which is 510 calories. I know that the bagel has alot of carbs and stuff but is this ok? I'm going to the gym today and I know I'm going to burn at least 300 calories. But even without those extra excersise calories including the bagel sandwich I'm still looking pretty good for the day, so is this ok for lunch?

I would say yes.....as long as you are staying within your calories.0

Considering that your total calories for the whole day is only 995 and you should be eating at least 1200, I would say your good.0

If you like the bagel sandwich, I say why not? You can keep yourself within your calorie goal and still eat the stuff you want - if your don't, then watching what you eat becomes deprivation, which is not sustainable long term. Enjoy it!

why not get it on their new flatbread? I heard they are good...I'm sure less carbs! The bagel will make you feel tired...0

I just checked out the nutrition info. from their website and not only does that bagel have 16 grams of fat, it is loaded with sodium - 1470 mgs. You may want to reconsider.0

Are you planning to have any vegetables or fruits? Sure, it stays within your daily caloric intake but it doesn’t seem to be healthy in any way.0

Relax guys. She wants the bagel. It's like saying you want to go to Hawaii for vacation but you should try North Dakota because you heard it's nice there... (no offense to anyone from ND)
Erica, it's fine, go for it.0 -

I think the bagel for lunch although maybe not the best choice isn't that bad if you are only doing it once in a while. And there are certainly worse choices.
However, looking at your food diary for the day I would caution that your choices seem to be very high in salt and you are not getting enough fruits and veggies. I also think you should eat at least another 200 calories especially since you are planning on going to the gym.0
