Don't Forget Snoballs!
I know! That's what I went to buy, but the store was all out so I settled for a Twinkie instead.0 -
This was one of our local stores.....I like a treat here and there. But, this picture just made me sick.0 -
Wonder Bread too people. What is this world coming too.0

Wow, this topic is all the rage today. Can't say I'll miss them.0

Is the whole company going down...powdered doughnuts and swiss rolls and everything?!0

The sad part is, you totally COULD stock up- then hoard them for Years- the shelf life is ridiculous Hostess didn't keep up with the times- these days, people don't want preservative laden crap. Sorry for all the workers who are now unemployed...0

I've never cared for them, but chances are another company will purchase the rights and continue to produce. Just a thought.0

I think some company will buy Hostess and carry on...there are too many "Twinkie junkies" out there. They have been part of life for a long time and all the hoopla about them going out of business will cause some company to step up and take over.0

Do a search on eBay. There are a ton of listings for them and many of them have multiple bids. I LOVE Ho Hos, but I only buy them occasionally and when they are on sale. No way will I be over paying for them.
They will be back. I have no doubt about it.0 -
Forget the twinkies!.....I just realized (from that pic above) that Hostess makes ZINGERS! Those are a household favorite! OH NO!0

My sons bought a box of Twinkies tonight--just because they were cheap and they hadn't had a "treat" in quite a while. I ate half of one and I have to admit, I still don't like them. As a kid, I loved the pies, the orange cupcakes, the HoHo's, Sno balls, and the Suzy Q's! No wonder I became diabetic early and eventually got up to well over 200 pounds!0

I think I might have to get a couple for a good-bye toast; although I always preferred Ding Dongs
Yeah, I was more of a ding-dong myself!0
