I lost the first 20lbs very quickly then it slowed down to 1-2lbs per week. I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps dropping faster that expected.0

No, I wouldn't worry about it. That's averaging out to about 3 lbs a week and it's always much quicker at first when your body isn't used to your diet and exercise levels yet. Your weight loss will likely slow down eventually but for now enjoy the results your seeing! Congrats!0

Congratulations. That is an amazing weight loss. It took me almost 2 1/2 months to lose 13 pounds.0

No I don't think so. Like someone said the first month I lost close to 20lbs I believe a lot of it was water weight and stuff. idk what yoru starting weight is but the more you have to loose the faster it comes off a the beginning. Congrats on your weight loss hun! keep on pushing!0

I lost 8 pounds in my first two weeks and then it slowed down to a more normal pace. I think you're doing fine congrats on the weight loss!0

Lost over 30 lbs the 1st month . .it's faster than most people . . it's just based on the amount of effort you put into this life style. . and it WILL slow down . . so enjoy it while you can. . .0

Congratulations! I agree with all the other posters!0

I wouldn't worry about it , Your doing Fine !
I've just started eating healthier and and working out myself a few weeks ago and been averaging 3 lbs a week , The only time I would be concerned is when I stop losing weight0 -
I think the answer depends on how much you weigh. If you weight 200+ lbs I dont think it is a problem. If you weight 150 then yes, its too much..
It will slow down though, so dont you worry. take this as a good thing! I lost 10lbs my first month0 -
Wonderful job! Keep it up. When you first start, this usually happens(: cause your body isn't use to your new diet and exercise routine.
Enjoy the results! Your doing great.0 -
It is not too fast, always faster in the beginning They recommend a weight loss of 1lb/week, but a better rule is, that up to 1% of your body weight (per week) is normal (and healthy). Which obviously means different things for different people. If you start out at 190 lb, ~2lb a week is just fine. Of course, if you're only 110 lb to begin with, 1lb a week is a better expectation. And as others have said, I wouldn't worry about it, it will eventually slow down a little when your body gets more used to the changes. Not that I would worry about the number on the scale going DOWN Just make sure you don't starve yourself...0
