Has everyone taken before pictures?

When I started this journey during the summer I didn't take any specific pictures because I figured I had enought "fat" pictures laying around the house. BUT now I am seeing how everyone is posting before and after shots, many in their under clothes or bikinis..
Well last night I took some so I can track my weight loss thru pictures and hopefully one day post my own shots of before and after.
I know I have lost weight..I could have sworn I had a double muffin top and am now down a one BIG muffin top...LOL
All those before and after pictures are very inspirational keeping them coming..

I didn't take any body shots....I don't think I could handle seeing it LOL. I know I should for reference to see the progress. If I get the courage later today I may do that. Poor camera! LOL0

LOL.. yeah..I am worried about someone hijacking my computer..I might transfer them to a USB stick.. the pics weren't a pretty sight but who knows if I get the urge to overeat I can just look at those and maybe it will stop me..0

I did (they're in my profile). But not in a bikini or underwear... I'm fully clothed. You can still see the changes though. I don't think you need to be half dressed to see a difference. It's all up to the individual and how comfy they are. :drinker:0

I didn't take any real progress pictures until I was about halfway to my goal. The before pics I have are some in a bathing suit my husband took a few months before I reached my high weight (so glad I didn't delete them) and random candid pictures.
The first time I compared my halfway photo in a swimsuit to that other swimsuit photo, I was hooked. I was only about 8 pounds lighter, but I could see changes I didn't see when I looked in the mirror. Since then, I've been snapping pics at least once a month.
I wish I took more. I wish I had photos from multiple angles from the start. I was already pretty happy with how I was looking by the time I was brave enough to take photos of my back and bum.0 -
I did not purposely take before pictures...this time around.
this was back in '09 and I was somewhere between 185-199lbs.

I still have 50lbs to lose, and I am hoping I can do it in the next year. My progress is slow because I am lifting...0 -
Somewhere I have some horrible ones where I look like the purple mountain guy from the mcdonald's commercials. far from motivating, more like, curl up and die because i can't believe i look like that.0

I did for the first time ever. Not pleased, but I think it really changed my whole outlook on this getting fit thing. I tried many times having never taken pictures and I believe I was far less motivated than I am now.0

thanks! Scary thing is...the first and the last picture are at approximately the same weight! Goes to show you what strength training will do for you I still own the outfit in the first picture, but the pants have not fit in 6 months. I wear the shirt at least once a week0
