Thanksgiving Sides
Okay I just got noticed that I have to bring (1hr travel) and vegetable side dish. The problem is they expect something completely different and healthy. I was just thinking a brussel sprouts or seasonal recipe. The other problem, besides not know what to make, is this is for about 12 people and the travel time. I don't have much recipes for a side dish for a crock pot or even a casserole dish. I'm usually just roasting or steaming all my veggies. Ugh! Why am I having such a hard time making this decision... could anyone help?!

well in one hour your veggies will be cold, so why not use the oven there for a few minutes? At home before you go, clean and prep fresh asparagus. Just wash and snap off the hard end. Take a spray bottle of olive oil with you. At the house, spread them out on a cookie sheet, spray well with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then roast for about 10 minutes....maybe 350 F. Hot, fresh, heavenly!0

I found a recipe for a Brussels sprout and kale recipe online that I was thinking about trying. Since it is a salad you wouldn't have to worry about it getting cold

No specific suggestions, but you can make a ton of things with cauliflower! Like mashed "potatoes" :-)0
