I'm new and confused.......ok I have 1200 calories a day to eat to reach my goal. I work out and expend about 400 so does that mean I can eat an extra 400 and still lose as though I was eating 1200 cals a day.

    I thought so.....BUT wouldn't I lose faster if I didn't consume those calories I lost working out???

    Wow....88lbs lost, that's great!!! Fantastic!

Nope you will be starving your body!!! I was loosing my weight faster by eating all my exercising cals and I wouldn't loose at all when I didn't. Trust me~you will feel better and your body will thank you for not starving it.:flowerforyou:

if you don't eat those extra calories you earn, your body is essentially not getting enough to run on. You burn calories by breathing! You need to make sur eyou get enough or your body will think you are starving and your metabolism will slow waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. That will make losing weight extremely difficult.
