Here we go again...

I seem to write that a lot on here, but this needs to be the last time!

I'm not in a good place, I'm pretty depressed, and isolating myself. I know it's not a good way to start to lose weight, but if I put it off, I'll never be ready.

I've written my success story, so I can go back and read it and try to feel as good as I will when I get to write it for real, and see what I think are realistic ways to lose weight.

I'm going to force myself out running tonight, I can't think about joining the gym, I just can't afford it. So I'm going out again, I might just do 10 minute runs three times this week, then next week go back up to two 10 minute runs three times in the week. I need to not push myself so hard that I don't want to do it any more.

I really do want to do this, I really hope I can.

Of course you can. And if you really want to, you will. Just know from the outset that occasionally you'll have a set back. No matter how hard it gets, don't ever stop, for anything. Make it your life. It gets easier.

Look at it as a lifestyle change and do it just one day at a time
Stop looking at the end line as that is too far away right now to help you.
Take each day separately and get through each one and soon it'll be second nature

    Trust me, just try it

It doesn't sound like you want to do it lol. If you go out to a resturaunt, and you have terrible service, bad tasting food, and a terrible check, you wouldn't go back right? Well when it comes to doing anything, when you make a negative experiance out of it, then you will ruin it for yourself. In my experience, when I first started working out I had a plan, work out x number of times doing x number of things x number of times at x o’clock. I felt obligated, almost like a job or something I really didn’t want to go to. I skipped sessions and didn’t even bother eating healthy. This is because I was having 0 (and I mean 0) fun fulfilling my obligations. Once I stopped planning and just started doing I saw results, results = fun and now I have a steady workout routine/eating plan.

My suggestions, and it may not work for you, but instead of planning days, just do. Like right now instead of typing go walking, do a situp, puship, pick up a weight, do something until you get tired. If you get bored do something. If you think about eating go walking, just don’t obsess and restrict yourself to things because it makes it a NEGATIVE experience. Don’t let something that already has so much control over your life control it even more. You will find your medium and you will be happy :drinker:
