i am so frustrated....i only need to loose 1 inch off my hips and i can join the army... i think its just water weight but my issue is that i have been working on loosing it for a long time! any advice would be helpfull! please!

cut as much sodium out of your diet as you can.0

I was wanting to loose some inches, so I focused on how many carbs I was taking in. I have to carb load a lot because i do a lot of training (marathons, triathlons, etc), but I was eating too much even for me. So maybe just concentrate on that and maybe mix up your exercise. Don't get in a rut, mix it up and have fun. I just started to do turbo kickboxing/boot camp for 1 1/2 and it's awesome!! even I can only run, swim and bike so much. Hope this helps0

maybe you could try to diurese by drinking green tea ?0

Get a body wrap (at a spa or salon) it is supposed to remove inches. Especially water weight.0

an inch? thats crazy. In order to protect and serve you have to be a certain size? This blows my mind. I give you so much credit for following your dreams...sit ups may help.0

thanks so much for the dvice! i am exhausted and thirsty... but what i found is that a trash bag under my cloths and 5 hours at the gym makes you loose a good amout of weight in water.... i lost 8 pounds in those five hours!!! the deal is i have to basically deprive myself of as much water as possible... in doing so i have to cut carbs and sodium because other wise i will be too thirsty! and yes you have to be a certain wieght and only have a certain amount of body fat to join! i have been working so hard to do this... i leave for MEPS (military enlistment processing station) tomorrow at 5 am,,,,wish me luck and thanks for the help!0

Well, did you make it? I have to say you are braver than I! I have to say thank you in advance for being able to make that commitment, I know there are many things to do in the armed services that don't all require battle front operations and maybe you are doing one of those things but you still are making a big commitment that I couldn't at your age!
