I never saw a lot of help in online fitness trackers, but I've been using this website for a week now and can already tell the difference! I'm choosing healthier things to eat and looking closely at my exercise routine.
My biggest challenge...the weekend. It's easy to stay on track and in a routine during the week, but the weekend is always something new. This past weekend is the first weekend in quite awhile where I weighed less than I did going into the weekend. Normally, it's the other way around.
How do other people handle the weekend? I know this sounds so simplistic, but I am curious!

I struggle with the weekends myself, but lately I seem to be handling them better. If I know that I am going to go out for dinner I prepare for it. I will take a look at the restaurant's menu online and choose a meal and try to estimate the calories before going to the restaurant and then eat a small breakfast and lunch in preparation for the meal. I also try and get extra exercise on the weekend, but that doesn't always happen since I'm often exhausted from the work week.
One other helpful thing I've started doing is looking at my calories on a weekly basis. During the weekdays if I exercise I can end up being 300-500 calories under for the week when the weekend starts. That makes me feel better about going over by a couple calories on Saturday and Sunday. I really try to stay under my weekly calorie goal.0 -
Weekends are still somewhat of a challenge for me, but I'm slowly getting better at it. One of the biggest things that has helped me is making time to exercise on the weekends, even if it isn't as long of a time as I would do during the week. Since I know that I will probably end up indulging a little more than normal I try to plan for the extra calories through exercise. That way it all ends up evening out for the most part. Good luck! It's a tough journey, but taking it one day (or in this case weekend) at a time is the best way to go about it.0
