Well, I am just wondering. Is it worst having too much of the daily value for vitamins, or having a deficiency?
I know some vitamins are water soluble vitamins and can be taken more than the daily value for... like vitamin C, I take a vitamin C supplement that's like 330 % of the daily value, lol.
.. what vitamins are dangerous to get too much of?
I had a cup of pumpkin puree with breakfast and it had a lot of vitamin A in it, so.... I skipped my multi vitamin for today because it already had a lot of vitamin A in it. Not sure if it's bad to have too much vitamin A. But, I took a vitamin C and a B vitamin supplement.

I am not sure which is worse but I know a vitamin deficiency is easier to get. Even if you take a lot of a vitamin most of the time your body only absorbs about half so if in doubt I would take the vitamin anyway. Your body will flush out the rest I think. Maybe ask your doctor to be 100%0

I think it takes more than a day to get to an unhealthy level with your vitamin intake. I'm not a doctor but I think you should be fine0

Most water soluble vitamins like B complex and C are excreted in urine when too much is consumed. Vitamin C will give you the runs if you really overdo it. Fat soluble vitamins like E and A can be toxic. Vitamin D is really hard to OD however.
Vitamin A from vegetable sources is not possible to OD on because its actually beta carotene. Your body converts beta carotene to vitamin A as needed, so when you have enough it just stops converting it.0 -
It varies by vitamin / mineral and sometimes by the source. Too much artifical vitamin A can be dangerous, but you can safely eat well over the RDA if it comes from food sources. Also, sometimes the concentration matters and too much at once can be bad, but same amount ingested throughout the day is fine.0
