Not me, but my daughter went vegetarian almost one year ago. I'm always looking for yummy things to make for her and for me and hubby to try also.

All sorts. I'm not vegetarian any more but have been in the past. Now I'm diabetic and carbs spike my blood sugars to the max so I'm not now. Definitely vegetarian friendly though.

I am kinda vegetarian. I do eat meat sometimes, but not very often. My girl was vegan for a few months. Had to buy all this special food for her, raw sugar, etc. etc. I do eat dairy and eggs and fish. Just don't care for the taste of meat much, but I do eat meat occasionally. So am not a strict veggie. I eat meat probably 1x every 2 weeks.

Get a bunch of veggie friends and you can look at their diaries for food ideas. Helps when I get stuck in a rut.

Vegetarian six weeks on Wednesday! Grew up with a vegetarian mommy so while I myself haven't been a vegetarian for very long, I've lived with the lifestyle all my life! I am pleased to say I had Thanksgiving dinner at church last night and I didn't miss the turkey at all! (I thought it would be the one thing tempting me, but the fact is, I'd rather hug a live turkey than eat a dead one!) :)

The "better" half is a vegetarian which makes me one by default...and I'm OK with that. Call me a dysfunctional vegetarian  I do eat my share of meat/eggs but am nowhere as obsessive about it as many in my family.
  • vegan for 5 years. feel free to add me. :)
  • When I marrled my husband who is a lacto/veggie I tried it just wasn't for me. I really wasn't getting enough protein I hated tofu and fake meat so it didn't work for me. I also had a hard time giving up eggs. I cook for my husband vegeterian. When I cook for the family taco's I use soy protein like Tofu Crumbles or frozen soy crumbles. The kids really don't know the difference. The kids are allowed to make their own decision if they chose to be a vegeterian or eat meat. The both eat meat but not in huge portions. My daughter likes to try different things. She likes lentil salad, she likes lentil loaf, quinoa. My son is picky. It will be interesting to see what they do when they get older.

My son 32 goes out with my hubby for Indian food. Funny is my son is a total meat eater. But he does request me to freeze new
veggie dishes. He came to pick up his mail thursday and loved the lentil loaf. I am always willing to share recipes including recipes for baking goodies.
