My new favorite comfort food

In another life it used to be pizza and ice cold pepsi. Now it is chicken livers , (dry pan fried and finished with fresh lemon juice, olive oil and about 15 cloves of raw garlic chopped fine) over top of turnip potato mash with homemade chicken gravy… talk about heaven on a dinner plate.

a cup of english tea with milk, and biscuits (as in american cookies).0 -
Make a pouch out of aluminum foil. Throw in assorted veggies (first tossed in olive oil and seasoned to taste) Place chicken on top of the veggies and seal the bag. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes and enjoy!0

I love popcorn for my night time, watching TV snack! Eat it 1 pc at a time and it takes care of that "hand to mouth" thing. You can eat alot of it for few calories, so it seems like you've eaten more than you actually did. I'm gonna have to try the chili powder. Sounds yummy! I love my air popper, but if you put a tiny bit of oil in the bottom of a pot, let it warm up so it spreads out and covers the bottom of the pot then shake some salt, chili powder or whatever flavored spice you want over that and put the unpopped kernels into that. The little bit of oil is just enough to help the salt, etc to stick to the popcorn, but doesn't add tons of calories!0
