I've heard many members say that "They haven't gained weight over night so they aren't going to lose it overnight" I have been really surprised at the amount of weight I have lost in the amount of time. Sure I would be happier if I lost it faster but if I was losing it as slow as I gained it that would be depressing. I've always tried to loose weight 2 weeks is as long as I could keep it up. I would start eating terribly when no one was around. I was only cheating myself by doing that. Now that i've started MFP everything has changed. Before I was eating every chance I had. Now I find it difficult to even reach my calorie goal of 1200 calories because of my workouts. I've seen so many inspiring people on here and a lot of people motivating me. So thank you myfitnesspal.

I agree....I would drop out if I saw very slow weight loss. Watch John Barban on utube and he talks about the fallacy of slow weight loss. That's why I was never successful at WW. I am now aiming for a 2 pound weight loss per week. This past week I lost over 5 pounds with eating lots of veggies and fruit. Each of us it different....but this is my path and I know what I need to do to be successful. Do what brings you success and a healthy lifestyle!
