Need support to battle height and hormones!!

I am struggling again this week as I await AF to show up. I can't seem to drop the weight anymore. I put on water weight the last 2 weeks of the cycle, and it takes another after to lose it all. On top of all that, I struggle to find the right calorie intake. I am only 5'1" My goal is to get down to 120, but right now I seem stuck in the 140s. Suggestions???

Open up your diary so we can take a look. We need to know more about your eating/exercising/etc habits before we can offer advice.

You only have a goal of 900 calories and sometimes eat as few as 619. I think that's your problem; your low calorie count is slowing your metabolism.

Go over to fitnessfrog and calculate how many calories it takes just to keep you alive (BMR). I can pretty much guarantee it's more than 900 calories, and you never want to eat fewer calories than it takes to keep you alive. There are handy calculators where you just enter your weight and your height; very easy.

You're eating way too little, especially for the amount of weight you want to lose (only 20lbs).

When you put your weight-loss goals into the site, what does IT recommend you eat every day? Where'd you come up with a 900 calorie goal?

My doctor actually put me on the 900 calories. He measures my LBM and calculated my maintenance and weight loss calories from that. Most of it is supposed to be protein, and I finally did lose 30 lbs, but I am stuck again, and i can't seem to break through the plateau.
