I need to find a group on MFP that is a group that doesn't support excuses or BS. One that keeps me accountable to eating in my calorie range, drinking ample water and working out. One that when I don't meet these goals they can brainstorm and come up with alternatives on how to stick with it. They don't use it as an excuse or fluff it up - one that sees it as a learning experience. Would love to be surrounded by no BS people that have had success losing a significant amount of weight (50 or more pounds) and have kept it off. People to learn from. People who have heard all the excuses and can see through them. Not a group that is going to crap all over people or be insensitive or rude. I guess I would like more of a balance between the two. Lately it seems like a lot of people are taking the light road of "lifestyle" change. How to incorporate the foods you love and eat them in moderation. Well, what if that doesn't work for you? What if all the niceness just isn't getting you where you need to be?
Anyone know of any ACTIVE groups that have this?

We don't do fluff, you gotta do the stuff, your choice. We're a group, "A Spirit of Fitness." I started it, doesn't seem to be much in participation, sometimes its just as easy to send a message. Check out the posts and see what if is for you.0

I am in one and they do challenges too! I had just joined in Sept and they started challenge. I didn't know if I was ready to lose the weight so didn't join, but am definitely going to join next time. Called Fit and Fab? or fit and fabulous. VERY active group and very supportive and they question you on sugar, sodium, etc. They post what exercises they are doing. Everyone is successful in losing weight. Mostly women. I am committed to logging daily, even though I don't want to at times!
Logging my food also motivates me to move more, so I am losing albeit not as fast as I could be but am losing pretty steady. In past 8 weeks have only had 1 gain of 1/2 lb. I only weigh in at Tops meeting.
Add me as a friend if you want. Kick the people who are not serious cuz its easy to get way too many on friends list and stick with the winners.

Thanks everyone. There are so many groups out there and a lot of them just aren't active or there just isn't a lot of accountability. I apparently need a lot of that! :happy:0
