I have lost 66lbs so far and only have 34lbs left to lose, I wear smaller sizes and get compliments on how much I've lost but I just don't see it! When I look at myself I still see 220lbs!!! How do I get past this so I can see what others see?

Well your tatoos are sexy, and your bodys pretty freaking awesome. I suggest more pics of yourself half clothed. Or Buy a fun house mirror that makes you look slimmer. Or keep losing weight until your happy with where you are.

OP...it just takes time...it's a big change and it just takes time to process it inside.

trust me, I know....I have days when I look in the mirror and all I see is my starting point.

Look at before and after pictures. Our human nature is always overly critical, and we are our worst critique. Even if you don't have before pictures, I am sure you have pictures from way back. I always find disgusting ones tagged of me on facebook :grumble:

I will try comparing pictures that might help> If I see one of just me now by itself I feel like I still look the same but maybe if I hold them next to each other it will help. thanks loves

you look great. Feel good about the progress you made, don't worry so much about what you have to fix. Just give it time and keep at it. I don't think you will feel better about yourself until you are comfortable receiving compliments.

    Completely normal.

I still see the 230lb me from this time last year. When I get compliments, half the time I'm super embarrassed about it because I don't see what they are seeing.

It just takes time. You'll get there :flowerforyou:

You don't need to poat them - but seriously, look at Before and Now pictures side by side and see how much your body has changed. I bet you'll be amazed

We are definitely our biggest critics. Look back at old pictures and you will really see the difference. You have made great progress and if you are getting the compliments from those who know you, then there has to be a change. Keep up the great work!!! =)
