I am a 40 something AA female and trying to stay motivated in losing weight. I do well for a few days then I fall off. I love food and it makes me feel great while I am eating but the after effects are dreadful. I just re-joined the gym last week but have not gone yet. Motivation Motivation Motivation is what I am looking for. Anyone out there??? I am in need of some encouraging words. Everyone enjoy your "turkey day"

I hear ya...I am 43 and a busy mom of 5. I have a difficult time trying to fit my workouts in. I have done it all on my own and at home, so with that being said, I am proud of where I have gotten to.
I never thought I could do this without the gym, but I am. You can do it, even if you start at just 20 minutes a day. I find if I do my workout when the four oldest go off to school, then I feel great starting my day.
I have been under the weather for the last week so I haven't been doing my workouts, but I am still watching what I eat.
You CAN do this...take the time for yourself...you deserve it.0 -
You can do this.. It will finally kick in to where you want it bad enough.. I know it did me.. I am a 45 year old female who has struggled along the way but finally glad to say I am not that far along from my goal weight.0
