Protein - too much?

Options
Every single day I go over my suggested protein intake.

I am usually always under my cals, carbs & fat. I didn't think this would be issue, any idea if I should be concerned?

It is perfectly fine, unless eating too much protein is causing you to not get enough fat or carbs. If you're having trouble just consciously add more fat or carb foods into your diet in place of protein. I have a horrible time meeting my fat intake so I eat a can of black olives every day so I hit it. Just being a little under your goal isn't bad, just make sure it isn't too low though.

How much are you at over 100? Protein stats are low you can change your setting to make them higher.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm over on my protein practically everyday too

You didn't worry about too much protein before you signed up for mfp

Now that you are eating less, why worry about it now?

MFP sets protein at a very low 15%. Most people I know go over every day too. Protein is essential for health and more is better than less. You can change your protein (30% is recommended by top nutritionists) by going to Home - Goals - Change Goals - Custom.

The protein on MFP is extremely low. I try to eat 100 cal of protein on days I only walk the dog and on days I weight train 125-150.

I'd suggest to eat more than 100 cal in protein that is still quite low
