you can't out train a bad diet

A great vid below on why trying to smash the cardio to offset overeating is a bad idea.

Remember, most people would be exercising for a max of an hr or 2 per day. There are another 22-23hrs in the day to think about. (unless you're like me and do speed eating comps while exercising for fun , then the numbers get a bit shady)

Cool video. Impressed at how long he ran at that speed and his ability to talk afterwards.

I really hate these videos. It's not he diet persay, it's the calories. What if he had the same amount of calories in the form of sweet potatoes and or veggies? Would he be saying that is a bad diet?

Nah I think they were just showing how quickly a lot of calories can be consumed.

I'd love to do the same experiment with chicken/brown rice & broccoli
  • Nice video! This is true, diet is the most important factor. Although I do like my cardio and like doing many hours of it a day, it does take a lot more time and effort.

This video is dumb. Yes, a lot of calories can be consumed quickly. But if you want to burn those calories off, you aren't just going to work out for the same amount of time that you ate.

Maybe what I consider a bad diet isn't nearly as bad as what some people consume, but if I work out regularly, I tend to be able to eat what I want. Then again, I don't eat most of a pizza everyday.

I think this video is good as long as it is only in regards to junk food or extremely excessive amounts of food - which, if you ate ALL the time, would realistically be impossible/extremely hard to burn off - as you'd be working out for hours and hours...literally.

    Yeah? Do you guys agree??

If you eat over your TDEE with whatever food you will gain weight. It just doesn't take as long to reach your TDEE if you eat "junk" food.

Alright, I'm going to do a "clean" eating challenge vs some sort of kb complex or something just for fun.

    I agree with this.
