Hahahahaha!!!!!!! I agree with you OP. They are making suggestions for you feet, but put them in the wrong category.

What about this site? They're not too fugly, but not many options:

I like the view, but as far as undies go, I prefer womens :blushing:

The women's aren't terrible... at least they're cheaper than others I've seen.

    It's not **that** bad!
Anyway, this sounds like a very annoying problem. I never would have thought of all the complications with being allergic to latex. I'm allergic to wool, and that's annoying enough, but generally avoidable.

They totally put that in the wrong place - unless they were trying to advertise to teenage boys, in which case it should come with a free bottle of lubriderm lotion.

    As for non-fugly undies:

    Haven't clicked.

I have an induced allergy to at least one of the monomers in elastic but not to latex whip.gif

high temp wash helps leak out mers for me.

For women look at Calida - they do some ok undies for sensitive people.

In all seriousness.....good post. My daughter has a severe allergy to latex.....I never even thought of the stuff in undies.

You'll think about it when all her pink parts flare up from elastic *LOL* Other weird things: Latex paint, the rubber on shoes, medical equipment (crutches, braces, etc)....

Avocados and Bananas seem to also trigger reactions in a lot of latex allergies

I was surprised at the amount of "innocent" things that contain latex...even some jewellery ..... the rubbery band things. When anything latex touches my daughter's skin, it's like acid was poured on her skin. Oh and balloons....holy crap those were deadly.

She has it FAR worse than me. I'm 35 and my allergy just came on over the last couple years. Right now I'm only sensitive to latex touching my skin. I haven't tried a balloon or anything, and can't eat avocados, but otherwise it hasn't been COMPLETELY horrible. Thank goodness! Underwear is a serious challenge, though.
  • I think it's suggesting you buy cotton socks that simply aren't made with elastic to wear ON YOUR FEET. *LOL*

That's pretty much how I interpreted it as well.
