Confusion on caloric needs?

My fitness goal is to lose fat and I have calculated my calories for losing 1.5 lb a week and I used the calculator on this website and on others and I have numbers between 1874-2476. I'm 6 foot and 225 lbs who is mostly sedentary with workouts 3-5 times a week. Can someone please tell me what amount of calories I need to eat a day for fat loss of 1.5 lbs a week.

Use the 2nd link only. First is too intense. Follow 2nd link above and do what it says. It's very easy, it just appears complicated because Dan tries to explain the meaning of it. But, you just take a few measurement, enter that info into the site he references, and that site tells you how many calories to consume everyday. It's really super simple.0 -
to lose mainly fat, i would reduce the deficit and go for a goal of 1lb per week.0

Found it very helpfull, just walk through the steps one by one... It will give you a higher calorie goal per day than MFP though... Just go by what you feel best with...0
