Hi,
Does anyone know what a good total calorie intake is good for a breast feeding mumma (feeding 3-4 times a day)
MFP has me on 1550 per day at the moment.
Thanx in advance

Hi,
I nursed 8 children(if you can believe that) and 1550 calories may be adequate as long as you're eating proper nutrition and not filling your diet with empty calories. Fluids are equally as important, make sure you're drinking enough of them. I loved it when I was nursing because it was a great time to shed the weight. If you're feeling hungry add some fruit into your diet or something made with whole grains. I hope this helped.
