i'm pretty close to goal weight now i'm 5ft 10 and aiming for 160lbs after resetting my goal twice. Im pear shaped though and still carrying more weight on my thighs and calves than im happy with. I'd carry on dieting to try and get rid of it but its not coming off from there and i'm starting to look too skinny from the hips up especially in the face so i had to rethink the weight loss idea. I'm a uk size 10 on top and a 10/12 on bottom but still with 22in thighs and 16in calves YUK!! any ideas anyone? i do fairly heavy lift by the way and do 1hrs cardio a day too

Hello fellow pear! I hear that the bottom half of the body is the last place fat leaves. I would say keep doing what you're doing. I jog for 15 minutes three times a week and I do a lot of pop-pilates youtube videos, mostly ones that work the butt and thighs. My thighs are still big, but they're starting to take on a more toned look and my butt is starting to lift a bit.0

You could be glad you're not me.
I'm 5'9. 160 lb, and have 24" thighs, down from 26".
What did help me lose those 2 inches is denise austin pilates, hips and thighs.
Also try the butt bible. Both of hese on u tube.0 -
I've lost 3in from my thighs and 3in from my calves but compared to the 7in i lost from my hips and 6in i lost from my waist it really sucks lol. I dont want to look gaunt but i dont want massive legs either. I should sue my parents for bad genes :laugh:0

Dancing, tennis, walking help when I lost weight. Doing exercises like leg lifts lying on your back and then kneeling to get the hamstrings tightened helps a lot. I used to dance and play tennis so I was once fit. I can retrain my muscles and they go back to where they once were. Another one for the inner thigh is if you lie on your back with your legs up, move them all the way to the side and bring them to the center. and then you can also do a switch a roo with your ankles while the legs are up in the center position. It is hard to explain with out showing but its like if you were to have your arms out do the mashed potato hand jive move with your legs. (not sure if you know what i mean). But you can google it! best wishes!!!0

I'm quite shorter than you but I'm in the same boat. Doing pilates really has helped but I'm still so unhappy with my upper thighs. UGH. I'm happy with my weight, just not that *part*0
