Trying to change my choices

Hi everyone, I'm brand new.
I am looking to lose about 14-15 pounds more but, I have a confession. I did a crash diet, and ended up losing 26 pounds from it. Now I am afraid to gain it back. All I can do is move forward from here and not dwell. It's time to be healthy and not be on anything that restricts your diet too much. I plan to exercise and make good choices from now on.
Anyway have any advice or has anyone done something similar to this? I have been eating health the past week and have only gained a pound back but, my body fluctuates normally anyway.

First of all, welcome to MFP! I lost about 20 lbs a year ago while on a migraine medication, so while not the same, I didn't really lose that weight on my own. But after gaining about 7 pounds of that back, I decided to make a change to my eating habits, and start working out on a daily basis. It took a couple weeks but after that the weight really started to come off and now I've lost an additional 37 pounds, 12 while using this app. It's really useful to log everything, and I love it because it syncs with my fitbit.
