Nutriton for mah ailments!!1

I've been on my healthy eating plan since the beginning of August and I think I have a good range of foods in my diet. I don't eat junk and I have plenty of veg and cook my meals from scratch.
Unfortunately, I still feel like crap and have a long list of health complaints that I feel could probably be tackled with nutrition. Thing is, I feel completely lost as to what I should be doing. So if anyone knows about this stuff, I would really appreciate some advice...
- I get dry, eczema-type rashes at the corners of my mouth and itchy skin in other places. (trying to cut out sugar and lactose for this, not sure if working)
- I'm really lethargic and I get sore eyes and heavy-headedness and occasional headaches
What would be useful would be any books or websites that I might be able to use to research this myself..?? Or how to go about it?
It's annoying because I'm struggling to find the motivation to do any exercise because I feel so tired. I should probably see my GP or a nutritional therapist but they're so expensive. Ho hum....

Check out "The Food Hospital". It's a series in the UK, where they try and cure ailments by changing people's food and diet.
Of course it's all under supervision of proper doctors and dieticians.
There was definitely an episode about eczema. Don't really know about lethargy. There was one about headaches as well. Don't really know which episodes these were, so you would have to look it up.
You can find it on tubeplus.me (looked it up for you: http://www.tubeplus.me/player/2106340/The_Food_Hospital/ )0 -
Thanks. I didn't watch much of the show but I have the book ordered from the library. I will have a look.0

could the headaches and heavy-headedness be to do with caffeine consumption? Dont forget there's caffeine in soft drinks too, not just coffee. the only way I can feel fully clear headed is to give up coffee and cola altogether and get plenty sleep. i get withdrawal symptoms for a few days before feeling better. But I like my coffee and cola too much to give them up completely so i'm my own worst enemy!!0

see a doctor and get your thyroid checked0

Thanks for the responses. I will see my doctor, I think that's sensible.
I don't drink coffee or soft drinks but I do have a fair amount of tea which contains caffeine. I'll try switching to caffeine-free, i didn't even think of it!0
