Japan, anyone?

Hi guys,

I've been living in Japan for 5 years and it's been a lot of fun.
Being a foreigner here is very interesting, it brings amusing twists into my life ;)

I'm 30 years old, currently maintaining my healthy life style by logging in daily and losing a little bit of weight.

It would be nice to find MFP friends.

PS. Good luck everyone with your weight loss!

  • I "live" in Japan. Currently on an exchange program, will be staying until March. ^^

Maybe we could become friends and exchange Japanese healthy dishes, since I don't know any of them but all Japanese people are thin. :-)
  • I don't live in Japan but I did study abroad there for a month in 2007 =) it was so much fun and I'd love to go back some day. You don't realize how BIG everything in america is until you come back. I noticed for myself that I actually lost a bit of weight while I was there. We got rail passes but we spent most of every day walking around tokyo (or toyohashi or kyoto) or wherever, and I think all that walking helped burn tons of cals. Also the portions there are much more reasonable - for the most part. But there's still an abundance of really cool candy that you can't get anywhere else. Anyway, good luck to you. Add me if you want I'd love to hear about your life over there and see what kinds of things you're eating. sounds like fun!
