Polar FT4. It has the chest strap. It's really easy to use and I feel it's very accurate.0

Polar makes some awesome heart rate monitors. I personally use the F4, but I've seen many people with the FT4, FT7, FT60, and FT80. The FT1 is the most inexpensive model, but does not provide the calories (which is actually the main reason I use my monitor). The other great thing about the Polar brand is that they are the most compatible with heart rate chips in commercial or residential fitness equipment. So your machine can pick up your heart rate with just the strap. Great warranty, and easy to use.0

Love my Polar with the chest strap. I've had it so long that I've had to change the batteries twice and it still works like new.0

I have a Garmin Forerunner 410 which I love - It has GPS so tracks your exercise on a map - it shows heartrate and calories. It's pricey, but helps keep me motivated to do my runs...0
