Can I really get this weight off

I have been big my whole life (10 pound baby lol) and this is so hard. I have lost and gained over the years but mostly when I was younger. I am now 45 and I feel it is going so very slow (12 pounds in 50 days). For the last two weeks I have put on 4 pounds then taken it off and then the 4 is back. At my age can I really get the weight off? I have a 100 pounds to lose.

12 pounds in 50 days is good solid progress. And yes, you can still lose weight. At any age. While I do not have a lot to lose I've dropped 10 and am 55

You can do anything you set your mind to! The weight doesn't always come off quickly. I've heard from a lot of people (and this was true for me to): the first chunk of weight comes off quickly, but as you get closer to your goal it comes off slower and slower. Instead of focusing on the scale, focusing on measurements and how loose your clothes fit are always a great indicator. After all, if you put on muscle and lose fat, you'll likely weigh a bit more (and you may be retaining water too).

I think you can do it! Feel free to add me if you need extra motivation!

Yes, you can! I'm 49 and have lost 100 pounds in the last two years. I still have about 70 to go.

Feel free to add me as a friend if you want. We are all in this together!
