All of you are so inspiring!! I'm just starting to get my feet wet in this new world of "watch the scale number decrease and your happiness increase"! However, there are some days when I'm discouraged too; it's hard when you're first starting out! I'm so close to being in the 200's range instead of the 300's, and 320 definitely wasn't my heaviest, but it's less than I used to weigh when I refused to even look at a scale. I'm glad I'm starting this and I want to see what I can look like, without all of this extra ME here. I've never seen it since I've been progressively getting heavier since my adolescence.

I started at 265 (my highest EVER) in June, and am at 223 as of yesterday morning. I'm always up for new friends

Feel free to add me! I am 34 and 5'7 and my last WI was 282 down from 291 which is my highest ever. It made me wake up and realize if I don't do something soon I may never see my 4yo DD grow up. We want to have more kids but so far no luck so I hope this helps.
I've been bigger my whole life and this is my time to change. I am signing up for a mini Triatholon in May! 10 laps in the pool (easy, I love swimming) 11km bike ride and 2.5km run (walk).0 -

I am currently about 210. Started at 240, I think I started here end of August/beg of Sept. I am hoping to get under that 200 mark between Christmas and New Years-ish. I have two boys, 8 and 4, and have done this before with Weight Watchers before I had my kids, but this time it's gonna be for good. Love some new friends0

i'm 227 right now, but before summer started i was 245! and i really do need to thank MFP for that, because if it weren't for me having to sign into MFP every day, i would have never gotten that weight off. If i would have stuck to it much better, I would probably be out of the 200's by now, but it's definitely a work in progress. It really is extremely hard to lose weight, and it takes so much dedication, but i'm learning.
So anyway, you can add me! i need the motivation just as much as all of you!0 -

Hi to everyone who has responded to this post. I am a single mother of a 2 year girl who has decided that I no longer want to be overweight. I want to set the right example for my daughter and to have the energy and stamina to keep up with her. Sure would be nice to have my clothes fit nicely and comfortably again. I am currently on this journey with my mother as well who also wants to set the right example for my daughter. I started at 247.8 (end of Sept) and as of this morning am at 232.6. I'm currently at 299.5, but started at 316. My highest weigt was 321. I just started recently and I am easing myself into it. Everytime I start, I always go 100% then I crash and burn 1-2 weeks later and never get back on track. I am looking for peeps that will help motivate me through my struggles. As well as help others! I have been working seriously at losing weight for only the last 10 weeks which is when I started logging my food on MFP. 250 lbs here...5 kids(31,26,23,16&12)...3 grandsons, one granddaughter and one on the way =D
Just started 4 days ago walking...haven't started managing my diet yet...so darn busy, but I'm going to sit down this weekend and start planning. My motivation is to live to see all of my grandchildren grow up and maybe some great-grandchildren too. :bigsmile:
