Lifetime Fitness!!

Hello Everyone!

I was in the military for 9 1/2 years so exercising is nothing new for me, I workout on a regular basis to include cardio and weight training.

I recently realized that just working out is just one component of overall health, what I eat is just as important. I use to just workout and not worry about what I eat, now as I am getting older, I noticed trimming down or getting leaner is allot harder.
Now I am learning how to eat properly and reprogram how I view food and keeping a diary. I would love to have more friends for encouragement and support and to share my journey.

I personally believe that eating clean as possible, cardio training as well as weight training = successful lifetime weight control.

I would love to have new friends who are in the process of eating clean, cardio and weight training.

Take Care!!

No amount of exercise can undo too many bad food choices. I'm still working my way to getting cleaner with my health and food choices and am now exercising daily. Feel free to add me. I am not as regimented as you are likely after your years of service but I am trying to treat my health like a job now.

    Hi there,
I'm also probably not as disciplined as you, but I'm getting there. I've made some massive changes in my life the past 4 months. You sound like a pretty motivated person too. Feel free to add me if you like. I'm currently on my 2nd round of p90x and loving it.

    Thanks
    Simon

I don't necessarily eat clean... but, the way I eat has definitely changed. When I pigged out Thursday for Thanksgiving, I ended up becoming sick all day on Friday. I just can't eat like I used to... and don't know how I ever ate like that every day. It can be hard at first to start eating right... but, it definitely gets easier. Oh... and I definitely combine eating right with cardio (and some strength training). I'm trying to do more strength though.
