Hi All,
I was wondering who is using the FitBit device? I have been using it since September and it really has helped me keep up with my exercise.

I have had mine for 8 months, don't go anywhere without it,love it..helps with knowing how many calories I have burned and makes me work harder to burn more calories especially on the days where I am not that active,,gets me off the couch and doing something,,I would have it implanted if they had that option

I was actually planning to go buy one tomorrow, but not sure how it helps you sleep or track sleep patterns?? Seems a bit of a stretch and a sales gimmick....does it actually benefit sleep and understanding sleep patterns?

Yes I agree. Love my fitbit. Walked more miles, climbed more stairs and counted more steps than I would have done without one. It is also interesting to know how many miles you walked whilst shopping or any other activity. I love it.

it actually does pretty good i think. it tracks your sleep by how much movement you make at night and it tracks how many hours per night you sleep...for instance today (since im a night shift worker) i slept 5 hours and 25 minutes....out of that 5 hours it tracked movement 6 times while i was asleep, and it times how long that movement lasts....so i only got about 3 hours and 45 minutes of sleep....and believe u me....i feel it....:/

LOVE LOVE LOVE my fitbit! after MFP it is the best motivator around.... Can't tell you how many times I've thrown on my robe and walked up and down the stairs in the complex to get the next badge before going to bed! The absolute best "toy" I bought for myself.
