Anybody need support and encouragement?

I am on here everyday and I enjoy supporting everybody. I've learned so much along my journey so far and can share tips and answer questions. I was a nurse before becoming disabled, so I am knowledgable in a lot of health issues. I suffer from a lot of health problems all related to being overweight for all my life. I am paying for my disregard for my health, but I am not letting that interfere with my losing wt. and trying take control of what I do. Please feel free to add me for support and encouragement.

Just added you Smokey19, thanks for the message. Anyone is free to add me as well. I was quite motivated by something I read this morning: The goals you don't accomplish become the regrets you must accept.

I don't want to have any more regrets!!!

I don't want to have any regrets either. I regret what I did to my body, but I am trying to fix that now. "A life of unremmitting caution, without the carefree--or even, occasionally, the careless--may turn out to be half a life." Anna Quindlen.

Added you both. I like friending people who log in every day. If you're active, post almost daily and log every day, add me!
  • The past couple of days have really been a struggle for me. The support system that started this journey with me.. all quit, but I just won't. But having someone motivation would be fantastic. If anyone else needs more people, add me! I do my best to be very encouraging.

  • Feel free to add me if anyone would like to. I could always use some more support. I have fallen off the wagon and trying desperately to get back on. And while I love my current MFP friends, I feel I do not get the support I need.

Hello all, i am new to MyFitnessPal because I have been using a different Calorie Counter app, but the social community on this app is remarkable! I had to switch over. I am a personal trainer and plan to use this to keep track of my clients :P Hope you all have fun and please join me :O)
  • I haven't worked out consistently in about 2 months but I am excited & motivated to get back on the band wagon. I'm not that familiar with this site but I intend to get familiar with it so I can get encouragement & encourage someone else.
  • Just sent you an add request!!! You are already very encouraging for me.

I found MFP in June and was doing really good. Then I fell off the wagon, I think I am back on track now but how do you avoid falling off the wagon, It is so easy, I hate the upcoming holidays cause it always provides me with the excuses to eat. I know they are all bad excuses but Im trying to be honest. I to have a lot of health issues . Including 3 blood clots in my lungs. You would think I had learned my lesson , but I didn';t

I'm around every day, but I won't encourage anyone to eat less than 1200 calories or to avoid exercise, and I would prefer that you not encourage me to do so.

I'm going to Friend Request you too! I did well last year, lost 34 lbs, then in January my hubby got sick and spent 2 weeks in hospital (he's fine now), and when he came home I got hit with a case of sciatica for 3 weeks, so really got out of the habit of both eating healthy/logging as well as exercise. So...guess what, I gained it all back! I have found a couple of challenges that sounded good, but I just am not getting it together to really get/stay motivated. And yet I really want this! I do have friends who have encouraged me, (and when I am on fire I love to encourage others as well lol) but I have been so inconsistent so many of them do drop off after a while, I can't blame them.

I knowe we're heading into the CHristmas season so I would really appreciate encouragement to stay on the straight and narrow. Thanks! :flowerforyou:

I am sending a FR as well. I log in every day and love to give and receive support and encouragement!

Please feel free to add me (to anyone else who wants even more support!!)
  • Added. I think accountability and friendship are two of the most powerful factors in weight loss. Anyone else can add me also, if they are serious about taking charge of their health again like me.
  • I'm just starting out and could use some support. In return I am happy to support others

I would never encourage anyone to eat less than 1200 calories a day. I, myself, try to stay under 1400 calories a day.
