Potasium and Sodium

After 2 weeks into MFP I have noticed the trend of not getting enough Potatisum and Sodium... anyone that can help with some suggestions.

many of the foods in the data base do not have their potassium content listed.0

plus those that do have it still not enough e.g. potatoes, carrots etc. Accordingly to daily intake you should eat plenty so thought be a good question to ask. cant only live on potatoes.0

Sodium is an upper limit, you want to stay well under it, so don't worry about that.
Potassium is tricky because as someone else noted, many of the foods in the database don't have their potassium included. My doctor wants me to eat a lot of potassium because I have high blood pressure. What I do is I have a list of 30 high potassium foods, and I make sure I eat at least two of them at each meal and one as a snack. My doctor and I went over this plan together and agreed that it will give me a good, healthy amount of potassium without having to research specific potassium levels and spending a lot of time editing the nutritional data for various foods here.0
