Anyone else have this happen?

I am a little more than half-way done with my weight loss and have noticed some strange things getting smaller while other stuff isn't. For example, my wrists and fingers and feet are all significantly smaller, but my gut still has a lovely "pooch" to it. I expected my rings would be fitting better, but now they are falling off and I never expected my shoes to be to big.

Anyone else experiencing things like this?

    Yes!
I went down almost 14 lbs (currently recovering from vacation) and had small amounts in change in how my clothes were fitting. I had lost like two inches off my waist and off of my hips which didn't amount to much in how my clothes were fitting, BUT my wedding ring had to be adjusted. My ring size went down a size and a half! I've always had fat fingers but now they're lean and mean :-P.
  • I've only been doing this for a couple of weeks. I don't know if I'm losing weight yet (I don't have a scale) but I have noticed my fingers getting thinner. I tried on my mother's wedding ring that I can't remember the last time it ever fit me. :) My fingers are still short and stubby (thanks dad) but perhaps they will become lean, too. That would be amazing!!!

Yes. Exactly what happened to me. I now have boney fingers but my belly pooch is very stubborn.

Yes, I had to get new shoes way before new pants. It made me angry. I still have a belly even though I'm getting close to goal, but my life is so much better. Keep going.
