I'm no expert but it seems you've hit a plataue. I'm not sure what you're doing for exercise but from what I understand when your body gets used to your workout/routine that's when plataue's accure. It might be time to make changes or additions to your routine to get things going again.

Yeah, try to mix things up a bit. Just keep in mind that weight loss is not as linear as most would like it to be. Whatever you do, don't get frustrated and let it impede your long term goal.

If you stick with it, it WILL come off.

What's your TDEE? How much are you eating? How much are you exercising and in what way? How long has it been since you lost any weight? If it's only been a few weeks, it may not be a plateau at all. My weight usually fluctuates the same 5 pounds for a few weeks and then drops 4-5 pounds all at once. You need to provide more information and/or open your diary for people really to be able to offer any useful advice.
  • When is the last time that that you took a break from eating at a deficit for a week or so?

The body is a complex thing, if you keep at it, you will see results :)

Long walks are a great way to lose weight. Friends I knew way back in highschool started walking EVERYWHERE no matter what or how far. And the pounds melted off.

Make sure that you are inputting true portion sizes into MFP

Just keep with it. Dont give up. Change is inevitable if you put the work in!
  • Whenever I hit a plateau I've learned that changing up any of the following helps : how you exercise, the foods you eat, eating slightly more calories (maybe 100 or 200 more than you normally do) is enough for me to start losing again. I have these few foods I eat all the time which are high in protein, low in calories and are tasty and filling for me. These foods are the most affordable out there for me since I am on a strict budget, but when I hit a slump I buy different foods. When your body gets use to things for such a long period of time it stops working as hard and needs change. Hope this helps! As far as more calories, I am normally 100-200 calories under my goal, when I get in my slump I indulge in using those calories, I don't know why but these have always worked for me! Best of luck!
