Hi Guys

I am considering doing a ten day trek to the Great Wall of China with our local radio station in August 2013, raising funds for disadvantaged kids in the area. However, the fundriaisng target for each person is £3,200, its a huge sum and I wonder whether I can can do it!

I would love to go, I am 50 next year and cannot think of a better way of celebrating it.

Any advice or ideas anyone can give???

Thanks
Mandy x

Snap! .. How exciting! Our group's heading out there in 2014, for our injured soldiers serving in the British Army - Generally for their families, whilst some rehabilitate and those who'd been made redundant, following the slashing of the MoD funds, to help with their small business start-ups or furthering their education.

We'll also be doing the 24-peaks in 3 days in Britain - yay!

What we are doing is, we're all setting up our own accounts, via the likes of www.giveforward.com and www.gogetfunding.com, where you then send your connection to your network, who may then choose to put something towards your advocacy.

I co-host fundraising parties - themed ones - much easier for my community.
