Just wondering what people thought of the new season? Hannah? Issak? Deb? Laguerta?
How do you rate this season to others?
For me, my ranking is :1,4,7 (current), 5,2,3,6

I love Dexter but I agree...this season isn't as exciting. I need to see more people die.

I haven't seen this week's episode yet (it's collecting dust in my DVR), but I'm not a huge fan of this season. I'm not going to give up hope yet, it has potential to get better.

Dexter is my all time favorite <3 I do really like this season..I like dexter with Hannah..not sure how that will turn out though.
I love deb, I think she's great..the, in love with dexter thing is creepy but probably why she won't turn him in. Laguratta is annoying as hell this season..but it's interesting.

I still love the show even though the twists are a bit weird (Deb telling Dex she's in love with him)!! I'm sure it will get more intense as the season progresses! And I absolutely love Dexter and Hannah...I don't think it will last long but I'm loving the chemistry they have!

I have watched 2 eps of this season (I am behind on my TV watching) I am not sure how I feel about it, last season didn't get me as excited as previous seasons..and this season is about the same.

Dexter is awesome! I think this season has been great, but dissapointing in some areas, but it might get great towards the end who knows? ;). My favourite seasons were season 1,2 and 4 :-)

I keep waiting for something to happen. I hope it gets better. Not that it isn't good. I really like the chemistry between Dex and Hannah, but the story with Russian Mob can be left out, and go back to killing one person per episode would be better. Not sure where the mob story is really going, don't really care.

I predict that Hannah will turn on Dexter. I have it in my mind that she's conning him for some reason. There have been much stranger twists!

That's how I feel about the mob storyline too, but my bf told me I was crazy and that storyline is great. It just seems out of place to me.

As far as Hannah goes, I'm reserving judgment on that one. I don't really like her, but I don't think we're supposed to like her lol.

*Possible Spoilers (but probably not)* Even though it's a lot less thrilling this season, I think it's found its niche in the character development. Imagine Dexter meeting Isaak, a man with which, as he said, "could have been great friends under different circumstances". Isaak's life parallels Dexter, and I think they can both see a bit of themselves in each other. So to kill one is to kill himself. The conversation between the 2 killers on the 11/18 episode was brilliant in its simplicity. A lot of this season has been a buildup, but I'm banking on a thrilling last couple of episodes. Plus, with the next season being confirmed as the series finale, it just keeps you on the edge of your seat. No one is safe any longer *coughbattistacough*

You didn't like last season? Wow, I thought it was amazing! This season I'm liking, with Deb knowing and all that comes from that. I believe there is going to be one more season after this.

I haven't really been motivated to watch Dexter this season. Saw the first couple of episodes. My wife has been keeping up with it, and she seems to be enjoying it. I'll just catch up sometime later.

    No, not Battista......
Quinn can go, he looks like crap.
I loved the conversation between Issak and Dexter. Very telling and emotional on Issak's part. I predict that Issak will seek revenge on Dex thru Hannah but won't kill her. Deb will kill Laguerta for getting too close to finding that Dex and the BHB are the same, and I think Captain Michaels will admit that he has known about Dex since he and Harry were so close.
This is a good season......much better than last years. Issak is almost as good as Trinity.........almost :)

Bahahaha. Have you seen Cliffhanger? He was the bad guy in that too. Never could look at him the same.

    Hahahaha agreed.

I didn't like the last season either, but this one has been much better in my oppinion. I've been waiting YEARS for Deb to find out. The few episodes in the middle lulled a bit on the excitement level, but I thought this past episode was great. It had so much going on, and was super intriguing for an episode with little action. LaGuerta getting so close has me nervous, and the scene in the bar with Dexter and Isaak was really poweful. I love a calm conversation where you can just feel the tension. I can't believe Dexter was so oblivious to the relationship between Isaak and Victor, I thought it was pretty obvious from the beginning.

Every time I started to like La Guerta a little bit, she went and did something to remind me why I hate her.

I liked the season where he was helping Lumen hunt down her rapists.

The last season was kind of weird with the doomsday killers. But the twists in the story were predictable.

I'm kinda onboard with Deb telling Dex who he can/can't kill. I'm definitely more interested in the Hannah story than the mob story.

Did anyone watch last night? I didn't enjoy the episode very much. I would rather have had Hannah die than Isaak. And the way he died was terrible! You think he and Dex were successful and then PSYCH! And no, don't take me to a hospital, I'm a dead man! Instead, load me into your boat and drive me to the middle of the ocean while enough time passes for it to go from day to night....

I'm really enjoying this season... The previous one was terrible and the whole show started to become very formulaic - with one main antagonist each year. However this year it is much more focused on Dexters relationships and his web of lies being slowly untangled. Whilst it isnt the most exciting season it certainly has one of the most interesting stories - outside of season 1.

OK Issac is out of the picture. I wondered how all of that was going to go down. I really like the Dexter/Hannah/Deb triangle going on. He now has a new target. I wonder now if Quinn is going to get taken out by the Russian's?? Also LaGuerta is she going to track down Dex or will she be directed in another direction??

Did anyone else get the vibe that Hannah isn't on the same page as Dexter in regards to their relationship? Her reaction to his admission about being really scared for her was far from touching...I dunno, maybe she was in shock but I still think she isn't as invested in the relationship as Dex is now.
And poor Issak (and Jorge). I thought Issak's send off was touching and very fitting.
And Quinn ! I don't like him, but I'm glad to see that he stood up for Nadia, but I think that just opened up a new set of problems for him.
And this new arsonist storyline looks interesting...... Who's Bobby? And there is something up with that arson investigator......sometimes the writers are a tad too obvious.
Now, wtf is going on with Lagurta and Matthews? I think Matthews knows about Dex and his extra curricular activities, and hopefully lead Laguerta in another direction away from Dex, but I don't think he is THAT kinda of a guy.

shell, I got the feeling that something was off with Hannah at the end. She seemed way more into Dex at first, but then not so much when he admitted how he feels.

I've heard several places that next season will be the last. So we'll probably get a great cliffhanger this season (though not as monumental as season 6), and next season all bets are off. All I know is, not everyone from the main cast is gonna make it.
