Having major sugar cravings!

I know that I am not hungry. I just ate. I am having major sugar cravings. Withdrawls, if you will. What should I do. They are most severe. I already tried to guzzle water to get them away. Any techniques before I break down?

You could try a piece of fruit or some sweet tea (like red berry) or maybe something like coconut butter (not the oil.. the stuff that's like peanut butter only coconut)? But to be honest, I doubt there's much you can do... I just cut sugar out of my diet last week and went through 3 days of terrible headaches and nausea. Although I feel fantastic now! Good luck!

Fill up on high protein foods and the cravings will subside within a day or two. If you give in to the cravings, they will just repeat. Eat plenty of healthy protein, fats, and high fiber plant based carbohydrates and the cravngs for processed carbs (ie: sweets) will go away.

Do you have anything like Mio or single crystal light packets. I've found that those help when I want something that is sweet without having a piece of candy. If nothing else if it is really bad just have a small amount of something sweet. Having one moment of a piece of candy or pastry, whatever, is not going to ruin everything. If your craving persists your just going to have a big binge and that will not be good. This is a marathon not a sprint.
