Total Newb looking for friends!

Hello everyone, I'm Lindsey. I'm partially new to the site, but I'm looking for friends to keep me motivated to sticking to what I say I'm going to do, and also to offer advice on different things they have done for success. I want to lose about 15-20lbs, or possibly tone up more since my body has decided it loves weighing the same for years.

Hi Lindsey; partially new? Maybe you're like me...I joined sometime early spring of 2011 but then I didn't really do anything with it....then I came back around the end of June this year...determined to do something.
I started by just logging my food; then I started posting, then I started getting friends....anyway here I am.
If you're body wants to weigh the same, you have to do something to change it's mind....do more exercise and/or cut your calories or both. If you do some weight training, this will help with changing your body composition, which will help improve your metabolism.0 -

You are totally right about the weight training,I used to go kickboxing and I was able to see a change until I sorta fell of the wagon. I'm hoping that when I move overseas next month, I will be able to find another class to keep up with so that I'm not just working out alone. Thanks for the advice0 -
