I was listening to a mix of Christmas music on the computer yesterday. I love ALL of it. HOWEVER.... When it go to the Destiny's Child christmas CD, I was about ready to throw my computer through the window. I just kept pushing "Next". I love their music... but, they seem to ruin any Christmas song they touch.

    Least favorites:

"Little Saint Nick" by the Beach Boys- it's just stupid
"Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" by Bing Crosby- I hate the line "...Rudolph the Red Beaked Reindeer" . I mean, REALLY?
"Carol of the Bells" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra- stresses me out
"Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer"- UGH
"The Grinch"- annoying and stupid lyrics. Great for a television show, not for the radio.

I've never heard "Christmas Shoes" or "Dominick the Donkey", but I'm certain, after all I've heard about them, that I don't want to.

Any version of an otherwise happy song sung too slowly makes it sound depressing. A Christmas song should not make you want to slit your wrists. Hello, it's Christmas, can we be happy?

Pretty much anything that has children singing in it...IDK I just can not stand that!

I KNOW!!! I hate to say it because it makes me sound like a horrible person. It's children!! I love children! But OMG, it's SOOOO ANNOYING! Almost as bad as the dog barking "Jingle Bells".

Actually, its Dean Martin that sings that version. Other than that, I agree with your assessment. ;D

Dominic the Donkey is the worst.

A close second is "Baby it's Cold Outside" or as my friend calles it "That holiday date rape song". She clearly professes her desire to leave and he plies her with alcohol and other illict substances (maybe one cigarette more?) to impare her judgement to stay.

Twelve Days of Christmas. It's like slowly...well...just imagine something gruesome and torturous. I don't want to ruin my appetite. Still eating breakfast here.

When my children were younger we made up our own version each year and called it The Twelve Days of Nightmare Before Christmas.

On the first day a Vulture in a pine tree, two dead rats, etc
