So today is my first day working out since for a long time. I always start and give up and start again, I know bad. But at least I always go back. So anyways since I havent worked out in like months I can barely run even 10 mins on a treadmill at a medium pace. I know I'm really out of shape.

Any tips on how to raise your stamina/endurance on treadmills or ellipticals I would like to run a lot longer then 10 mins so I can burn a good amount of calories. Thank You!

Change the mind and the rest will follow. Stop with the negative thoughts and focus on the positive. Start small and gradually increase your time/distance. Always think positive thoughts.

Just keep exercising. You'll never get fitter if you stop.

Positive thoughts and reachable goals breed long term success. 10 minutes today, 12 minutes day after tomorrow, 14 minutes next week. Recording your efforts helps too, so you can see all you have done. Don't give up, you can do this.

    Great question.
Best way to improve your endurance is to slow down, and go longer distances, before building up to speed workouts.
If you are currently managing 10 minutes of running, you can try alternating 1 minute of running with 15-30 seconds of slow walking, for a total of 20+ minutes. If it's still too hard, slow your pace during the running intervals.

Do it at least 3 times a week to stay consistent and build up the benefits.
Each week add a few minutes to the time.
Once you are at 30+ minutes, you can either increase the run intervals to 90 seconds / 30 seconds walk, or up your speed a little.

After a few weeks of that, add to the total time again... then spend a few weeks increasing your pace...

So on an so on, until before you know it you can run for an hour!

Just keep doing it, though I suspect you already knew that.

The posts above had way more helpful answers, I'm just pointing out the obvious.

You can always do couch 2 5k. If you were jogging that whole 10 minutes, then you can probably skip to week 4 and start from there. If that feels to difficult, do week three and proceed from there.
